The functions of the accessories
As we’ve seen in previous articles, there are many accessories that work with 3D welding tables, and where to store these accessories becomes a problem. This is where accessory carts come in handy.
Accessory carts are usually of fixed dimensions and have many protruding round tubes. These tubes can be used to hold products such as positioning straightedges and angle rulers, making them easy to access. In addition, there are many holes on the cart for placing products such as clamps. With accessory carts, there’s no need to worry about where to put these accessories.
Other auxiliary accessories include lifting rings. Our welding tables are usually quite heavy, making manual movement impossible. We can use lifting rings to secure the table and then move it using a lifting device.
Furthermore, there are ground connectors, which are used to protect the platform from damage and prevent electric shock. During welding operations, the grounder ensures a good current path between the welding machine casing and the ground. If the welding machine casing leaks current, the grounding device creates a current path between the casing and the ground, reducing the relative voltage when a person touches the casing, thus preventing electric shock.
